This battery is a perfect fit for replacement of the original Dell battery in our laptop. So far, it has functioned well, but I admit that we don't often use the computer off AC power. I don't really know about battery life and longevity, yet.

Cannot comment on Longevity, & battery life. The batteries are new. Up to this point the batteries appear to surpass the original battery. Recommended.
